Phil Taylor famously faced Andy Fordham 11 years ago and they could meet again at the Grand Slam of Darts, live on Sky Sports.
There was plenty of pre-match hype when Taylor, the PDC's reigning world champion, took on BDO world title winner Fordham in 'The Showdown' at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
Fordham was unfortunately forced to withdraw due to health problems while trailing 5-2, but the pair could renew their rivalry at upcoming tournament in Wolverhampton, starting on Saturday November 7.
