Gary Anderson to make Premier League return in Newcastle
Tuesday 9 February 2016 14:06, UK
Gary Anderson is fit to play in this week's Premier League meeting.
Illness forced the champion to miss this year's opening night in Leeds and the UK Open qualifiers in Wigan at the weekend.
But his meeting with Michael van Gerwen will go ahead as planned in Newcastle on Thursday, a statement from the PDC has confirmed.
Anderson's match against Adrian Lewis, meanwhile, will now be included on the week-seven programme in Glasgow.
The fixture was originally scheduled for Leeds, but the Scot's withdrawal meant Michael Smith played twice on the opening night and Smith will not now feature at the SECC on March 17.
