European Championship Darts: Schedule and round-by-round results as Ross Smith wins title and Luke Littler falls short

Final round-by-round scores from the Machineseeker European Championship, held at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany.

World No 2 Luke Humphries was forced to withdraw on the eve of the tournament due to a diagnosis of gastroenteritis, and was replaced in the draw by Kim Huybrechts.

The quarter-finals took place on Sunday afternoon, when Luke Littler suffered a shock defeat to Krzysztof Ratajski.

Ratajski was beaten in the semi-finals by German No 1 Martin Schindler, who then loss 11-8 to England's Ross Smith in a topsy-turvy final.

Victory sees Smith become just the fifth player in history to win multiple European Championship titles, with his latest success following his World Series of Darts title in September and lifting him to world No 6.
