Two-time BDO world champion Ted Hankey is set to switch to the lucrative PDC circuit. The PDC have offered all four semi-finalists from this year's Lakeside Championship the chance to move across. Following an announcement from the BDO that players will no longer be penalised for exiting their Playing Agreements to join the tour, Christian Kist, Tony O'Shea, Wesley Harms and Hankey have been offered two-year Tour Cards. Kist beat O'Shea 7-5 to win the Lakeside Championship but it is Hankey, who had previously criticised the 'PDC circus', who looks to be the first to accept the opportunity. Hankey, who won the BDO titles in 2000 and 2009, along with Kist, O'Shea and Harms now have until January 18 to officially accept the PDC's offer.
