Success for Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button at British Grand Prix, says Johnny Herbert

Sky Sports pundit Johnny Herbert is backing Lewis Hamilton to dominate the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend.

Hamilton closed the gap in the Drivers' Championship to 11 points with his victory in Austria, reducing Nico Rosberg's lead by 13 points after a final-lap collision between the Mercedes team-mates saw the German slip to fourth.

Herbert is also tipping Jenson Button to be in the points again after recording a sixth-placed finish in Austria, while he expects Daniel Ricciardo, who has finished in the top five in six of this season's nine races, to secure just his second podium finish of the season.

Here are Herbert's three best bets for the weekend...

Race Winner, Set Pole Time and Set Fastest Lap: Lewis Hamilton - 5/1 with Sky Bet

He did it in Austria and there is no reason why he can't do it again and Sky Bet have Price Boosted Hamilton's odds on a second successive hat-trick. Should he set the fastest lap by the way, it will break Nigel Mansell's record for the most fastest laps by a British driver and what a track to do it at.

Podium Finish: Daniel Ricciardo - 11/4 with Sky Bet

When Daniel made his F1 debut at Silverstone in 2011, his current team-mate was only aged 13! While Max Verstappen has taken the headlines of late at Red Bull, I think this track will play to Daniel's strengths and I can see him coming home for a top-three finish on Sunday.

Points Finish: Jenson Button - 10/11 with Sky Bet

With Honda considering introducing their upgrade for Silverstone and with Jenson fresh off the back of a superb sixth-placed finish last week, I can see the British driver picking up more points in front of his home fans this weekend. Sadly, I can't see him picking up a first British GP win in what is his 17th start, but a points finish will be a good effort.
