Lewis Hamilton won the race to move 19 points clear in the championship, while his Mercedes team-mate and rival Nico Rosberg struggled from pole position before eventually finishing fourth.
The Mercedes pair were split by the Red Bull duo of Daniel Ricciardo, who finished second, and Max Verstappen. A good afternoon for Red Bull also saw them move ahead of Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship.
