Lewis Hamilton to extend F1 Drivers' Championship, predicts Johnny Herbert
Sunday 13 November 2016 16:01, UK
Johnny Herbert provides us with his predictions for the Brazilian Grand Prix, tipping Lewis Hamilton to extend Nico Rosberg's wait for the Drivers' Championship.
Rosberg can secure the title if he wins at Interlagos for a third successive season, while various other permutations involving the German finishing above Hamilton will settle their tussle.
However, Herbert is expecting their battle to go into a decider in Abu Dhabi in his Sky Bet tips...
Race Winner: Lewis Hamilton - 5/6 with Sky Bet
Amazingly, Lewis Hamilton has never won at Interlagos but I expect that stat to change come Sunday afternoon. Showers are forecast but that shouldn't stop a man who we know excels in the wet conditions.
He's won the last two races and I'd be amazed if he doesn't make it a hat-trick and keep the title race alive this weekend.
Top-six finish: Jenson Button - 5/1 with Sky Bet
At the track where he clinched the 2009 World Championship, Jenson Button is a driver who could well benefit from a few rain showers on Sunday.
It's a risk to back him for the top six but if it does rain in qualifying or the race, there's not many better in those conditions.
Double Podium: Red Bull - 11/4 with Sky Bet
We're getting used to the sight of Red Bull drivers back on the podium now and it's clear that they have overtaken Ferrari as the next best team to Mercedes.
In what could be a race affected by rain showers on Sunday, why not go for a double podium finish at very attractive odds?
