Following the announcement he'll be driving the McLaren M23 at the Monterey Classic at Laguna Seca this summer, see how Jenson Button got on in that very car in this 2013 Sky F1 film from Silverstone.
Button may be officially on a sabbatical from F1 but he'll be back in McLaren machinery later this year - albeit of the vintage kind, when he drives Emerson Fittipaldi's 1974 world championship-winning car at the famous American circuit in August.
"It's always special to drive a Formula 1 car with such an illustrious past, and the M23 wrote a significant chapter in grand prix history during the 1970s," he said.
Button, whose sabbatical is expected to lead to a full retirement from F1, remains contracted to McLaren until the end of 2018.
