WATCH: We catch up with teenage racing driver Jamie Chadwick
Tuesday 30 May 2017 13:18, UK
Jamie Chadwick is far from your average teenage girl. The 19-year-old from Bath is being tipped as a potential F1 star of the future.
Like most of today's top-level race drivers, Chadwick's career began racing karts when she was young, but such was her potential, Chadwick landed the prestigious Ginetta Junior Scholarship at the age of 14.
Two years later, she became the youngest ever GT champion and remains the only female to have won the British GT4 Championship title.
Already recognised as a 'Rising Star' by the British Racing Drivers Club, Chadwick became the youngest female driver ever to sign for a British F3 team when she joined the Double R Racing team in February.
And the youngster has already claimed a podium finish for her new team, finishing third at the Rockingham Motor Speedway earlier this month.
Hit play on the video above to watch Chadwick in action as we pay her a visit on raceday at Snetterton.
