Speaking on this week's F1 Report, Craig Slater explains why he thinks Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas is better than Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen as a wingman.

Kimi Raikkonen played the perfect rear gunner to help secure Sebastian Vettel victory at the Hungarian GP, but has Valtteri Bottas been the better second driver for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton this season?

On this week's F1 Report, Formula 2 driver Jordan King and Sky Sports News' Craig Slater debate whether Bottas' results may have the greater say on the title outcome.

Raikkonen was quicker than his team-mate for much of Sunday's race, as the championship leader struggled with a steering issue, but maintained position rather than challenge for victory.

His wake prevented the Mercedes duo of Hamilton and Bottas from being able to threaten Vettel, with Hamilton surrendering third to his team-mate at the final corner having failed to pass Raikkonen after being let through 24 laps earlier.

However, it was only the second time this season that Raikkonen has taken points off one of the Mercedes drivers.

By contrast, Bottas has claimed two victories and finished ahead of Vettel on three other occasions, which could prove key to himself or Hamilton beating the German to the title.

So who is the better second driver? Watch the video above and have your say in the comments below.
