Tyres are a fundamental part of Formula 1, and strategy on how best to use them can lead to plenty of scrambled thinking up and down the pit lane.
And the Singapore GP sees the tyres experience a range of temperatures, with Practice One and Three taking place in sunshine, while qualifying and the race are at night.
The most physically demanding race of the season often leaves the drivers poached post-race, while the tyres undergo plenty of stress around the 23 corners of Marina Bay.
