Japanese driver to test later in November

Takuma Sato is to get a second shot at a Toro Rosso race seat for 2009 after the team agreed another test for the Japanese star. The 31-year-old, who has been out of Formula One since Super Aguri withdrew from the sport in May, has already had one test with Toro Rosso in September. And, according to a statement on his website, he has now been given another chance to impress Toro Rosso team boss Gerhard Berger. "We are extremely happy to announce that Takuma will be testing again for Toro Rosso in Barcelona on 17-18 November," the statement read. "Toro Rosso have yet to decide on their driver line up for the 2009 season. We would like to thank all the fans, as ever, for their fantastic support for Takuma and look forward to more good news soon." Toro Rosso are on the lookout for one, if not two, new drivers for the 2009 season. Sebastian Vettel, who won the Italian Grand Prix for the team in September, has moved on to Red Bull Racing while Sebastien Bourdais has yet to be retained.
