Jean-Eric Vergne believes Toro Rosso should take a lot of encouragement from the STR8's pace in race conditions at Sepang and must now focus on unlocking the car's potential earlier in a grand prix weekend.
"If it's warm in China we might get a clearer picture, but last year it was freezing cold, so who knows."
