Team Principal insists tyres remain "a strong moving target"

Ross Brawn has warned that Mercedes cannot yet be confident about being on top of their long-standing tyre problems despite Lewis Hamilton's commanding victory in Hungary.
Having been barred from running at the Silverstone Young Driver Test when the new-look tyres were tried for the first time, Mercedes had been openly pessimistic about their prospects in Hungary - therefore making the nature of Hamilton's subsequent win a widespread surprise. Brawn insists, however, that there are no guarantees that the situation will prove as favourable for the W04 on the fast sweeps of Spa's Belgian GP circuit in two weeks' time. "There are slopes that people will be running along in terms of their understanding of the tyre," he added. "We got it on the button in Hungary, but it doesn't mean we'll get it right at Spa because every situation is different. "You just build up your understanding of it to use it properly."
