McLaren boss Ron Dennis has paid tribute to Tyler Alexander, one of the team's founders, after he passed away on January 7 aged 75.
The American was part of the team for more than 40 years after helping Bruce McLaren set it up in 1963, only retiring after Lewis Hamilton's 2008 title win.
Leaving McLaren for a brief stint in the 1980s to work in IndyCar, he returned in 1989 and continued to play a key role in McLaren's success in F1.
He also masterminded the outfit's hugely successful CanAm efforts in the 1960s and 1970s.
