A number of drivers were caught out by the slippery track conditions in Monaco practice as the race weekend got underway.
With the track 'green', there were numerous lock-ups during the opening two stages and the occasional barrier clip as the drivers navigated the streets of Monte Carlo.
But it was Roberto Merhi who had the most spectacular moment, losing his Manor Marussia while braking ahead of the Nouvelle Chicane and hitting the barriers to cause a red flag.
