German sure he will be fit in time for British Grand Prix

Marussia's Timo Glock will be back on track at the British Grand Prix next week after being forced to miss the race in Valencia with a stomach bug. The German took unwell on Thursday at the European Grand Prix, and after struggling during Saturday morning practice, consulted with doctors who advised him to skip qualifying. The 30-year-old failed to recover in time for the race and thus Marussia were forced to compete with just one car in the hands of rookie Charles Pic. Glock though, has reassured fans that he is getting better and will be racing at Silverstone. "Generally I am feeling much better. I still feel a little weak in the legs, but otherwise I am okay," the German said in a statement. "It was obviously very disappointing that I was forced to miss the race in Valencia, but that is the way it goes sometimes. You cannot just ignore the symptoms I was experiencing. I am now on my way to a full recovery, although it will be a few more days before I am allowed to train again. "I am now looking forward to the forthcoming weeks. Included on the programme is my home race with my Marussia F1 Team, which means it will be a busy and demanding period with lots of events and activities. However, by then I should be totally fit again."
