F1 retirement is not yet on the horizon for Jenson Button following the news that he will definitely be staying on at McLaren into 2016.

Official confirmation that the second year of the 35-year-old's contract remains intact means the F1 grid will continue to include one of its most popular and successful drivers for at least another season.

Since joining Williams as a fresh-faced 20-year-old in 2000, Button's career has included numerous highs and lows - with the pinnacle undoubtedly his title win with the phoenix-from-the-flames Brawn team in 2009.
