Max Verstappen was given a shock in qualifying for the Italian GP when the engine cover on his Toro Rosso car suddenly fell off.
The incident left debris strewn across the Monza circuit – and Toro Rosso likely to face some awkward questions from the race stewards after the Dutchman only ventured out on track in the final stages of Q1 due to previous problems with his Renault power unit.
