Nico Rosberg has told Sky Sports News that he's targeting points at the British Grand Prix this weekend, the Mercedes driver also hoping they've made progress with their tyre wear problems.
Rosberg's best finish in the British GP to date was third in 2010. His father Keke never won the race but does own a slice of Silverstone history - his 160mph pole lap in 1985 an F1 record until Juan Pablo Montoya beat it at the 2002 Italian GP. "I remember him being a bit disappointed when Montoya took it from him in Monza. We've discussed it sometimes," added Rosberg, who celebrates his 28th birthday on Thursday. "I know the track was very, very different so it's not even possible to do anything even close to that nowadays."
