Fernando Alonso had a near miss in the pitlane after a brake issue

Fernando Alonso forces his mechanics to take evasive action at the Spanish GP as he shoots through his pitbox when trying to make a stop.

The Spaniard had reported brake issues and was unable to stop as he entered the McLaren box, causing his front jackman to leap out of the way as Alonso sent his crew's equipment flying down the pits. 

The problem forced the double world champion to retire from the race and bring to an end a difficult weekend for the crowd favourite.
