Hartlepool strikers Adam Boyd and James Brown are the latest players to sign new deals at Victoria Park.
Boyd, 28, and Brown 24, are the third and fourth Pools players to agree to extend their stay with the club following Andy Monkhouse and Neil Austin. Hartlepool refuse to disclose the length of any of their players' contracts. Former Luton forward Boyd, who began as a trainee at Victoria Park, returned in July 2009 when Hartlepool agreed an £80,000 fee with Leyton Orient. He made 24 appearances for Pools this season and scored four goals. Brown, who has already suffered two cruciate ligaments in his career, missed two months of the season just gone due to an ankle injury, but still made 31 appearances, scoring three times. He joined Pools from Cramlington Boys Club in 2004.
