Hoult wants to build on point

Russell Hoult has called upon Hereford to use Saturday's goalless draw at local rivals Cheltenham as a stepping stone.
The Bulls went into the Whaddon Road clash on the back of a 6-1 home hammering at the hands of Gillingham, a result which condemned the struggling club to a third successive defeat and left them still with just one win to their name all season. But the manner of their battling point at Cheltenham provided plenty of cause for optimism, and assistant manager Hoult hopes his players can use that as a springboard. "Last week's defeat hurt - it would hurt any professional - so the lads have been a bit down this week," Hoult said, speaking after the draw against the Robins. "It was our job to pick them up and get them going again, and they deserved the result they got. "If we can build on this performance and clean sheet then hopefully the confidence will come and we will start getting a few goals at the other end, which will turn the draws into wins."
