Pericard tries luck at Cherries

Former Stoke and Carlisle striker Vincent Pericard, who has not played since Swindon released him last season, is now at Bournemouth.
The 28-year-old, once on the books of Juventus, will feature for the Cherries' reserves against Cheltenham. "He's a big, strong, quick target man and on his day he's a real handful," manager Lee Bradbury told Bournemouth's official website. "I just wanted to get him training and you never know what will happen. "If he does well I told him we will see what happens. He's been at Premier League clubs and he's 28, so he's still young enough to do well."
