Still savours solid showing

Dagenham boss John Still was happy to come away with a point following his side's battling goalless draw at Plymouth.

Argyle substitute Luke Daley almost broke the deadlock with a shot which flew off the base of a post in the 72nd minute before recalled left-back Robbie Williams struck exactly the same post with a left-footed effort just moments later. Nevertheless, the Daggers held on but remain bottom of the table. "We knew it was going to be tough because Plymouth are on a decent run of form. They are a big club, regardless of their position, and they had a big crowd in," Still said. "We worked hard and stuck to our task. Plymouth had two good efforts in the second half which hit the post without putting us under any sustained pressure. "Obviously I have got to be happy to get something away from home. We look forward to Tuesday and Morecambe away now."
