Aldershot have signed midfielder Craig Stanley on a two-year deal following his release from Bristol Rovers.
The 29-year-old has previously enjoyed fruitful spells with Morecambe and Hereford, as well as loan periods at Torquay and Raith Rovers. Stanley, a former England C international, told Premium Shots: "I know the division well and Aldershot were an improving side last season. I want to be part of a squad that is capable of pushing all the time. "There are a lot of good players at the club. It is an exciting time to join. We have a tough pre season first and there will be plenty of hard work ahead." Manager Dean Holdsworth added: "He is a robust player who passes the ball well but can also do the horrible things well too."
