Burton boss Gary Rowett will be casting his eye over defender Michael Spillane, who has joined the club on a trial.
Rowett is on the look out for a centre-half and Spillane, formerly of Dagenham & Redbridge and Southend, featured for Albion as they defeated Derby in the Bass Charity Vase on Tuesday night. The 24-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Norwich, performed well against the Rams and even got on the scoresheet as Burton overturned a two-goal deficit to beat their Championship neighbours 3-2 at the Pirelli Stadium. Spillane will continue to train with the Brewers in the coming days.
