Tranmere's Akpo Sodje has been sent out on loan to Macclesfield, where his brother Efe Sodje is assistant manager.
The 34-year-old Rovers forward has not played for the League One club since November and has not scored in a competitive match since March of last year. Akpo Sodje moves to the non-league club on an initial one-month basis. Assistant manager John McMahon, in charge because of Ronnie Moore's suspension, told Tranmere's official website: "Akpo needs to play matches and this move will give him that opportunity. "It's a club he should settle into quickly - with his brother Efe being on the coaching staff - and I wish him the best of luck there."
