Tom Lockyer has signed a contract extension with Bristol Rovers that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2016.
The versatile 18-year-old has caught the eye this season as a first-team regular having graduated from the Pirates' successful youth team. "Tom is a great example for other young players coming through the ranks," boss John Ward told the club's official website. "He is proof that if you work hard there are opportunities for you at this club. "Tom has a really good future ahead of him, and I am really pleased he has signed this contract extension."
