Southend defender Mark Phillips has joined Aldershot on loan until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old joined the Shrimpers in 2010 and has become a permanent fixture in the side, making 114 appearances. But he has been on the fringes of the first team in recent weeks and has moved out in search of regular football. Blues boss Phil Brown told the club's official website: "Mark has been given the chance at Aldershot to get some games under his belt and we felt it was right to allow him this opportunity."
