Iain Hume and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff have been released by Preston after not being offered new deals by the League One club.
The Canadian striker and Australian centre-half will be out of contract at Deepdale next month. Hume and Cansdell-Sherriff, on loan at Fleetwood and Burton respectively, played against each other in Monday's League Two play-off final at Wembley where Hume's Town team won 1-0 and sealed promotion to League One next season alongside the Lilywhites. Hume played 80 times for Preston and scored 24 goals, while Cansdell-Sherriff made 22 appearances for the club, scoring once.
