Morecambe have signed striker Tom Barkhuizen on a month's loan from Championship outfit Blackpool.
The 21-year-old, who has yet to feature for the ailing Championship club this season, will stay at the Globe Arena for four weeks and could make his debut against Burton on Saturday. Shrimps' boss Jim Bentley told the club's official website: "I noticed Tom a couple of seasons ago when he was at Hereford. He scored a few goals for them that year and did really well for such a young lad. "He is someone with pace who has an eye for goal and I am sure he will be a good addition to our squad.''
