Jeffers snapped up by Yeovil

Yeovil manager Paul Sturrock has signed former Newport striker Shaun Jeffers on a one-year contract.
The 23-year-old was recently released by the Exiles and will officially join the Glovers on July 1. He made 22 appearances for Newport last season, scoring three goals. Jeffers began his career at Coventry, where he made eight first-team appearances and had loan spells at Cheltenham, Cambridge and Tamworth before joining Peterborough on a free transfer in October 2013. Jeffers made eight appearances for Posh and moved on to Newport in January 2014.
