Long makes Stanley return

Accrington Stanley have re-signed Kevin Long on loan from Championship outfit Burnley for the rest of the season.
The two clubs have agreed an extension to the deal which will keep Long at the Crown Ground until May 31. Long featured 12 times during an initial three-month loan at Stanley last year, but returned to Turf Moor early in January after breaking a toe and the defender is delighted to return. "I've really enjoyed my time here so far. Coming and playing competitive games has been good for me. I am delighted to be back and getting more games and hopefully I can do really well," he told the club's official website. "When I got injured I was still in touch with Jimmy (Bell) and the gaffer and they were telling me that they'd try and sort it so I never had any doubts that it was going to go through again."
