Slade: Scott can stun Pirates

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade is looking forward to unleashing a fully-fit Scott McGleish on Bristol Rovers.

Veteran striker McGleish returned from a rib injury to replace Jonathan Tehoue for the last 20 minutes of last weekend's 1-1 FA Cup draw at Dagenham, despite having not trained all week. "It was a great decision by Scott because his ribs were still very sore," said Slade ahead of the League One trip to the Memorial Stadium on Saturday. "But it worked very well for us because Jonathan was running out of steam so to be able to put Scott, who hadn't trained, on was great. "He's had a week's training now so he's in much better nick than he was seven days ago."
