Tranmere have completed the signing of goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams on a two-year deal after his release from Rochdale.
The 24-year old began his career at Crewe and joined Stockport in 2008 before enjoying spells with Bury and Rochdale. Born in Caernarfon, Owain has represented Wales at Under-21s level and been included in the full squad three times. Rovers manager Les Parry said: "Owain has been our first-choice target for some time so I'm really pleased to be able to bring him to the club. "Our goalkeeper coach Dave Timmins has worked with him before at Stockport and he comes highly recommended. He's relatively young for a goalkeeper but he's already made more than 120 appearances and was part of Wales' most successful ever Under-21s side. "He fits the profile of players we want to bring to the club being young and hungry to play at a higher level. I'm sure he'll fit in well with the rest of the squad."
