Bournemouth's new assistant manager Russ Wilcox is looking forward to starting afresh at the League One outfit.
Wilcox was formally appointed as boss Lee Bradbury's number two on Thursday after a rapid interview process. Having never worked with Bradbury or any of the Cherries playing staff in his previous coaching roles, the 47-year-old said he is keen to start learning more about the squad. "It's all been a bit crash, bang, whallop. I came down here for interview and it's all gone pretty fast," he told Press Association Sport "I have not worked with any of the players before and I have not worked with any of the management before so it's a clean sheet of paper for me and I'm looking forward to it. "The team are on a good run at the moment so there's not much to tinker with but if I can be that extra pair of eyes then that is a good thing."
