Juan signing boosts Wright

Chesterfield assistant manager Tommy Wright is excited about the club's new acquisition French midfielder Jimmy Juan.
The League One strugglers received international clearance for Juan at the end of last week. The 28-year-old had been training with the Spireites after he became a free agent following the collapse of French club Grenoble. Juan is building up his fitness but should soon be available for selection. "Jimmy needs to really work on his fitness so hopefully he'll be available for the first team in the next couple of weeks," said Wright. "He hasn't played for a while so he needs a few reserves games, but he's a good footballer, a good passer of the ball, lovely on the deck, and I'm sure he'll be a good addition to the club."
