Kiwomya: Win was coming

Notts County manager Chris Kiwomya was not surprised by his side's 4-0 victory over Crewe.
Callum McGregor starred with two goals as the Magpies recorded only their second league win of the season, and the on-loan Celtic midfielder was singled out for some special praise by Kiwomya. "I've said in the last three games that we've played really, really well, although it's hard to convince people when you're getting beat and at the bottom of the table," said Kiwomya "They're also fighting for their lives and the first 25 minutes were really difficult, but we got to grips with them after 20 minutes and I thought we deserved the win. "Callum is a good player and what I like best about him is that he's down to earth. He's the first up to the training ground in the morning - the other day he was there waiting for me! "Before the game he was talking about scoring a hat-trick and that's just the confidence of the kid - he's scored two goals and he could have had a hat-trick. "He's enjoying his football and he's enjoying the way we play and I get on well with him. "When he gets the confidence, he makes it easier for the team, but we have to try and build on this because we're creating chances and we're passing the ball well." McGregor scored twice before half-time while County's other goals came from Danny Haynes and substitute Marcus Haber in the second half.
