Robins response pleases boss

Swindon manager Mark Cooper felt his side's game against Port Vale was a good advertisement for League One football.
Two-goal Massimo Luongo was the hero as the Robins recovered from their mini slump in form to beat Vale 5-2 at the County Ground. A brace from former Tottenham star Luongo and further strikes from Danny N'Guessan, Nile Ranger and Nathan Byrne helped Cooper's men return to winning ways after back-to-back defeats. A delighted Cooper said: "I certainly wouldn't mind paying to watch that because the second half was at time end to end, and there was some really good football from us. "Sometimes with a young team you can make mistakes, and that's maybe what happened for their goals, but we got on track again. "We worked on getting them to press and winning the ball back and that was evident, and it's now back on track after the crisis of losing two games." N'Guessan added: "I think we needed a very good reaction and I think we are happy with the performance. "We needed to stay strong and work hard because sometimes ability isn't enough. "I scored a goal, which was good, and if I can help people score as well that is good." Vale did not make it comfortable for Swindon though and top scorer Tom Pope rounded goalkeeper Wes Foderingham to pull a goal back and make it 3-1 after 73 minutes. The County Ground was silenced with 10 minutes left when Lee Hughes smashed home from two yards out to bring the visitors to within a single goal.
