Lee Johnson says it will not be his decision to leave Oldham if Barnsley come calling.

Johnson is currently the bookmakers' favourite to succeed Danny Wilson at Oakwell but he says it will be down to the Latics board, should Barnsley make their move. "If the club receive interest then it's up to them whether or not they accept," he told the Manchester Evening News. "That goes for anybody though and not just for the situation at Barnsley. "As far as I'm concerned I'm happy in the job at Oldham and I get on really well with the players, the staff and everybody else. "The board has always said that they want me to remain and I have two and a half years left on my contract so it won't be my decision to leave. "I'm an ambitious manager and I'd love to one day manage in the higher divisions and it would be great if we can do that with Oldham. "As far as I'm concerned I'll be in the dugout for the game against Leyton Orient on Saturday."
