Port Vale have appointed Paul Bodin as the club's new assistant manager/first-team coach.
Bodin, 50, is no stranger to Vale manager Rob Page having worked in the coaching team for Wales under current boss Chris Coleman. Page told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to welcome Paul to Port Vale Football Club. "He's someone I know very well and I believe he will make a really positive impact here." Former Wales international Bodin had spells at Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Swindon and Cardiff as a player. He moved into coaching in 2008 when he took charge of Swindon's youth team and has also been a coach at Southampton.
