Jason Euell has rejoined Charlton after being released by Blackpool where he made just three Premier League appearances last season.

The 34-year-old striker has signed a one-year deal with the Seasiders. Euell initially joined the Addicks from Wimbledon in 2001 for a then club-record fee of £4.75million and made 155 appearances, scoring 37 goals. The former Jamaica international, who has also played for Middlesbrough, Southampton and Doncaster, had been training with Chris Powell's men this summer and featured in a couple of pre-season friendlies. Following one of those friendlies back in July, Euell told the club's official website: "It feels good to be back and I'm happy that Chris Powell and the club have allowed me to come back to train and get fit. "It felt good to pull the Charlton shirt back on and to just play some football again."
