Bennett makes Rovers return

Winger Kyle Bennett has returned to Doncaster following the end of his loan spell at Crawley.

Bennett featured in five of Crawley's six games during his month-long stay with the League One side. Reds boss Richie Barker was keen to keep hold of the 23-year-old but an extension could not be agreed between the clubs. "At the moment it won't be renewed," Barker told the West Sussex County Times. "There's always a possibility (it could be extended). I thought he started his loan extremely well, he hasn't quite kicked on in the way we would of hoped but he's not played a great deal of football which is why we're looking to extend it."
