Toby Mullarkey has become the latest Academy player to sign a professional contract at Crewe.
The 18-year-old defender was one of five second-year scholars to be offered terms by Alex. Andre Brown, Liam O'Neill, Joe Kearns and Joe Howell all recently signed a one-year deal with a year option and Mullarkey has now followed his team-mates. A regular for both the Under-18 and Under-21 teams, Mullarkey spent the final months of the season on loan at Evo-Stik Division One South side Leek Town. A club spokesman said: "Everyone at Crewe Alexandra Football Club would like to congratulate Toby and the rest of the lads on their professional contracts."
