Port Vale have released defender Charlie Raglan ahead of the completion of the League Two season.
Valiants boss Micky Adams has 'reluctantly' decided to let the teenager, a first-year professional at Vale Park, go as he plans ahead for next season. "Charlie signed a one-year deal at the start of the season and we would have expected him to have progressed into the first team but he hasn't done so," Adams told the club's official website. "He has been out on loan to a couple of clubs, where he has done very well, so it is not the end of his footballing career. "It is just that at this moment in time we can't offer him a deal for next season so we have reluctantly released him."
