Midfielder Nick McKoy has had his contract terminated by Northampton.
The 25-year-old only joined Sixfields in the summer from Blue Square Bet Premier outfit Kettering but he is not a part of Aidy Boothroyd's future plans. The Cobblers boss stated McKoy will sign for another club in the January transfer window. "This is a good opportunity for Nick and we wish him well," Boothroyd told the club's official website. "I believe in being honest with people and Nick was not going to be part of the future here. "It is in the interests of every player that they are playing regular first team football, and he has a move lined up that will hopefully give Nick that opportunity."
