Manager Micky Adams has voiced his anger at other clubs attempting to take advantage of Port Vale's financial problems.
Adams claims he has been inundated with enquiries about his players since Vale announced they are to go into administration on Friday. The League Two club reportedly owe in the region of £4million to creditors. "They (others clubs) think they can cherry-pick our better players and I have been fending them off like you wouldn't believe," said Adams. "It is hard to take. We are in difficulties and they think they can swoop in. "My phone has been going non-stop. They think they are doing us a favour, and they probably will be, I don't know, but I have decided not to take any more calls now until I have spoken to the administrator on Friday."
