Bristol Rovers defender Danny Woodards has chosen to stay with the club after activating the option of a one-year extension on his deal.
The 28-year-old was the Pirates' player of the season last term and chairman Nick Higgs was delighted to secure his services for another year. "Danny is a key player for Bristol Rovers, so we are very pleased that he has now signed his extension," he told the club's official website. "He was fantastic for us last season, and we cannot wait to have him back from injury."
