The Grecians were looking towards the play-off spots after an emphatic 3-2 win at Southend on February 15 but having taken just one point from three successive home games, the latest in a run of 11 without victory at St James Park, they are now seven points clear of the relegation zone. "I saw us play at Southend 10 days ago and we looked like a proper team, but in the space of three home games we are now looking like a very average team," he said. "We've just got to find a way of getting our game back on track. We are just very anxious in these home games, it is a problem. "There is a third of the season to go, we have to just keep going. It is not over now in February, there is a lot of football to be played and we have got to keep going." Boos rung out around St James Park when Tisdale substituted David Wheeler for John O'Flynn eight minutes after half-time and the City boss revealed why the winger was withdrawn. "I wanted to get the two strikers on and David wasn't doing as I was asking him to do, as instructed," he explained. "I wanted to get more forwards on the pitch, it was a simple change. You have to be strong with your decisions like I asked the players to be strong with their game. "
